Being a mentor at Bernadette’s House is about showing up with consistency, care, and encouragement for girls who are learning who they are and who they want to become.
Through our Blossom Mentoring Program, mentors serve as positive role models and supportive guides for girls ages 8–17. Mentoring is not about having all the answers. It’s about listening, building trust, and helping a young person feel seen, valued, and supported.
If you believe in the power of presence and are willing to invest time and intention into a meaningful relationship, mentoring may be a great fit for you.
What Mentoring Looks LikeBlossom Mentors connect with their mentee through regular check-ins, conversations, and planned activities. Mentors encourage growth, confidence, and healthy decision-making while modeling positive behavior and boundaries.
Mentors are not parents, teachers, or counselors. Instead, they are consistent adults who show up, listen well, and provide encouragement along the way.
