​BH Girls work, learn, and play together, with support from our well-trained, all-volunteer team. There are monthly trips offered to all girls in the BH Mentoring Program.  Past events have included a visit to the Kennedy Center to see a special performance, roller skating, and other fun outings that allow BH girls to interface meaningfully with their hand-selected mentors. During our 2024 Brains and Beauty Summer Program, our BH girls got to fly in an airplane (photo below), learned about financial literacy, and put on a play about American aviator Bessie Coleman.

Our volunteers are also engaged in the community, and support one another. See some of the fun events that we offer to our wonderful BH team members!
